{"id":2443,"date":"2021-06-01T21:54:34","date_gmt":"2021-06-01T20:54:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/support.servicesight.com\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=2443"},"modified":"2023-08-24T12:34:52","modified_gmt":"2023-08-24T11:34:52","slug":"sales-opportunity-attributes","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/support.servicesight.com\/us\/knowledge-base\/sales-opportunity-attributes\/","title":{"rendered":"Sales Opportunity Attributes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sales Opportunity Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sales opportunity attributes allows you to add different attributes for customers and other sales possibilities listed with customers. These attributes can be memo&#8217;s regarding the location, notes about the customer, or other info needed for a particular customer or situation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adding a new Sales Opportunity Attribute<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Select the settings icon in the upper right hand corner of the ServiceSight home screen.<\/li>\n<li>Once in the settings screen, you will drop down menu&#8217;s for each setting. Select the tab labeled CRM, and it should drop down several tabs to choose from. Select sales opportunity attributes at this time.<\/li>\n<li>After selected, this will take you to the attributes page where attributes can be created and changed after being created.<\/li>\n<li>Once on this page, there is green tab at the top of the page labeled &#8216;New Attribute&#8217;. Select this tab to start creating a new attribute.<\/li>\n<li>When this is selected, the first line to select is Attribute, which will allow you to name the new attribute.<\/li>\n<li>Next line is Type. This will allow you to determine whether it is one of the following: Date, List, Memo, Numeric, Text, or Yes\/No. Once you have selected one of these you can move onto the next line.<\/li>\n<li>This line is called Category. You have two options, select the the link labeled &#8216;+ Add category&#8217; or select the drop down and choose one that has been created.<\/li>\n<li>On the next line, you can choose the Visibility, meaning whether this is visible on on info to customers, or it is for internal use only.<\/li>\n<li>Once these are done, you will be able to hit save and have completed creating an attribute to be added to jobs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2449\" src=\"https:\/\/support.servicesight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/06\/Sales-Opportunity-Attributes.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1903\" height=\"902\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sales Opportunity Attributes Sales opportunity attributes allows you to add different attributes for customers and other sales possibilities listed with customers.
