Activities can range from doctors appointments, to collecting parts or even just a lunch break. Activities can be created in the office system on the planner board or on the mobile app by the engineer\u2019s themselves. To help in categorising these activities you can create Activity types, with default options &amp; colours.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To add an activity type simply go to Settings | Job | Activity types.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3149\" src=\"https:\/\/support.servicesight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/Full-Process.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1416\" height=\"753\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click \u2018Settings\u2019 by your avatar in the top right-hand corner, then select Job from the list that opens on the left. Then choose Activity types to open the list of previously defined types. You can select an existing item to edit by clicking on it in the list if needed.<\/li>\n<li>Click the green \u2018New activity type\u2019 button to create a new one.<\/li>\n<li>The \u2018New activity type\u2019 screen opens.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the description for this new type e.g. Workshop Duties, Travel Time Etc<\/li>\n<li>Next, select the colour you want activities of this type to be on the planner board &amp; planner map. To do this click onto the light-blue coloured field and then the desired colour from the colour box that appears.<\/li>\n<li>Then, using the tick boxes choose whether this activity type is work related and\/or a paid activity.<\/li>\n<li>Finally you can choose whether this activity type should show the engineer\u2019s time as \u2018out of office\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Once you have made you selections click the green \u2018Save\u2019 button to create this new type and save your entries.<\/li>\n<li>To create further Activity types simply click the Activity types option on the left-hand menu again to return to the list of types. Then use the green \u2018New activity type\u2019 button.
