It is possible to decide at which point an engineer is prompted to fill out each inspection sheet:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pre Visit<\/strong> &#8211; will appear when the engineer arrives on site. They cannot continue with the rest of the job until the inspection has been completed e.g. Risk Assessment or Safety Inspection<\/li>\n<li><strong>In Visit &#8211;<\/strong> will appear when the engineer is on site and chooses to complete that inspection sheet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To create a <strong>Pre Visit<\/strong> inspection go to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Settings | Inspections | Templates<\/li>\n<li>Click \u2018Settings\u2019 in the top right-hand corner, then select Inspection from the list that opens on the left. You will see two options;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Templates <\/strong>\u2013 this is where you will build your inspection template<\/li>\n<li>Select \u2018Templates\u2019 from the list expanded on the left.<\/li>\n<li>Click the green \u2018New template\u2019 \u2013 to begin fill in the inspection \u2018Name\u2019 box at the top of the page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Below there are two tabs \u2013 Template and Options. \u2018<strong>Options\u2019<\/strong>  allows you to define whether this template is to be used as a Pre Visit or an In Visit inspection.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To create a <strong>Pre Visit Inspection \u2013 <\/strong>under the option \u2018Type\u2019 Select<strong> \u2018Pre Visit\u2019<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1889\" src=\"https:\/\/support.servicesight.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/Creating-a-New-Pre-Visit-Inspection-Template.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1904\" height=\"946\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You have the ability to complete pre visit and in visit inspections.
