Sales Orders

Sales orders can be accessed through the sales icon on the top toolbar. Selecting this will take you to one of two options, Sales Orders and Dispatch Notes. The screen itself will automatically land on the sales orders, showing the list of currently open and closed orders.

New sales orders

To start a new sales order:

  • Starting on the home screen, select the Sales tab.
  • This will take you to the Sales orders screen. From here you can either select an existing order or select the “new sales order” tab.
  • If you select an existing sales order you can either complete, edit, cancel, or save any changes made.
  • When selecting the “New Sales Order”, you will be taken to a screen with a list to fill out for the new order.
  • To start the new order, select the customer tab and select the customer ordering the part and where it is being delivered too.
  • Next, you will enter the contact for the customer on the sales order and then create a sales number for this. The order date and due date can be changed to reflect the customer’s request.
  • You will then need to enter any delivery cost, internal notes, instructions, and then the carrier and contact for that.
  • When this screen is completed, you can select the parts tab to add the part that your ordering, the equipment tab to add any equipment being ordered, and materials to add any materials needed for the order.
  • Finally, select the summary screen to view what has been selected for the order, whether or not there is a sales opportunity, and any final instructions for the order.
  • Complete by placing the order. Also, you can view the order as well as copy the order. If not needed, you can discard the order or save the order for later.
  • Once placed, it will prompt you too dispatch the order. In order to do this, you will need to allocate all lines included.
  • After that has been done, you will be able to invoice the sales order.
