Adding Cancellation Reasons

When you need to cancel a job ServiceSight will prompt you to select a previously created cancellation reason to assign to the job so that you will be able to analyse historically cancelled jobs. You can create as many reasons as you need and you can edit & delete previously created reasons if needed.

  • To add a cancellation reason simply go to Settings | General | Cancellation reasons.
  • Click ‘Settings’ by your avatar in the top right-hand corner, then select General from the list that opens on the left. Then choose Cancellation reasons to open the list of previously defined reasons.
  • Click the green ‘New reason’ button.
  • Enter a name for the new cancellation reason e.g. Raised in Error.
  • Optionally you can also add a more elaborate description below.
  • When you are happy with your entries click the green ‘Save’ button to save your new reason.
