New Contract Type
- Select the settings icon in the upper right hand corner of the ServiceSight home screen.
- Once in the settings screen, you will see tabs down the left hand side of the page, select ‘Service Contracts’ and then ‘Contract Types’
- After selecting this it will take you to a page where the current list of contract types are listed, and where you can add a new ones.
- To make changes to an existing contract type simply select the current contract type and make any general or job type changes required. To create a new one, select the green tab labelled ‘New contract type’.
- Once selected you are presented with a screen where you can input the name of the contract type E.g. Comprehensive, Labour Inclusive Etc and a box where you can input a description about this particular Type. Once filled out, you can then select the labour rate to be used for this contract type. It will either be a standard rate, or another rate that you have created.
- On the next tab ‘Job Types’ you will see a chart with some selection boxes where you can toggle each job type individually and specify whether they are chargeable or non chargeable when using that type of job against this contract type.
- After this has been filled in, select save at the bottom to save the information.
