Currency maintenance

Currency maintenance can be handled in the settings menu area. This can be used to add currencies and even delete currency that is no longer being accepted by the user.

To access the currency setting, select the settings icon on the home screen located in the upper right hand corner of the screen. When selected this will take you to the system and settings screen. There will be a drop down menu with header tabs. Select the tab labeled accounting. Under this tab, is another tab labeled currencies. Select this to access the currency area in the settings.

Once there, you will see the current currencies you are using. Selecting the currency title will allow you to make changes and save them, or delete the currency. Back on the currency page, in the upper right hand corner is a green tab labeled New Currency. Select this to add a new currency to the account. Once selected, there is a drop down menu labeled “Currency Name”. Selecting this will give you a drop down menu to choose the type of currency you are adding. Once selected, the currency code, currency symbol, and exchange rate will auto-populate.

When finished, simply select the save button at the bottom of the screen to apply the new currency being added. To delete the currency, select the currency label from the currency main page. Once in that screen, you can select the delete button located in bottom right. After that has been selected, you will be asked to confirm the delete pending.
