How to edit and use User References

User References are used to add additional information to specific areas within ServiceSight that you can bespoke. The list of user references are:

  • Equipment ref 1
  • Equipment ref 2

  • Purchase ref 1
  • Purchase ref 2
  • Sales order ref 1

To edit the user references go to Settings > General > User References:

Click on the item you want to edit, for example, Equipment Ref 1 and change the name of the reference, for example ‘state. Then you can add values to choose from in a drop down list. You can then view the employee record with the new user reference.
