Price List Detail

Price List Details

Price list details are created for your customers when dealing with the sale of parts and materials. You can change the exceptions and the default price calculation for parts and materials, and add any customers the price list applies to.

Creating new price list details

  1. Select the settings icon in the upper right hand corner of the ServiceSight home screen.
  2. Once in the settings screen, you will drop down menu’s for each setting. Then select the tab labeled Accounting, followed by the tab labeled Price List.
  3. On the price list page you can either select an existing price list or select the tab labeled “New Price List”. If you select an existing, you can make changes to the list. If you select the green tab, you will be creating a new price list.
  4. After selected, you will see a screen with 4 tabs labeled: General, Parts, Materials, and Customers. The general tab is the first one you will fill out. First will be the name of the price list. Underneath, you fill out the description of the price list.
  5. The next tab is labeled Parts. Underneath this tab you can change the default price calculation along with the calculation type and the percentage along with it. Once selected, you can add an inventory type to exceptions using the green tab labeled as such. Finally, you will be able to add any parts to this exception as well.
  6. After this you move to the materials tab. On this tab, you can once again change the default price calculation type and the percentage used. After this, you can add an exception for material or remove them.
  7. The final tab is the Customers tab. Once on this tab, you can select a customer to add to the price list for the pricing you set. Once all this is done, select the green save tab and it will save the new list.
