Adding Reminder Types

Reminders in ServiceSight are a very powerful tool to help you avoid missing important phone calls, meetings or other vital sales or service activity. You can get the system to remind you about these activities and easily keep track of diaries & to-do lists. Each reminder is assigned a reminder type to aid categorisation & tracking.

  • To add a reminder type simply go to Settings | CRM | Reminder types.

  • To do this click ‘Settings’ by your avatar in the top right-hand corner, then select CRM from the list that opens on the left. Then choose Reminder types to open the list of previously defined entries. You can edit any entry in the list here by clicking on it.
  • Click the green ‘New reminder types’ button to create a new one.
  • The new Reminder type screen opens.
  • In the Name field type the name of the new reminder type e.g. Send Quote.
  • If you want this reminder to appear in the diary – Tick the check box where it says ‘Show in Diary’
  • Once you have made the entry you need click the green ‘Save’ button to save your new reminder type.
