Changing Settings
To allow you to configure ServiceSight to meet your individual requirements there are many settings and options that can be set. These general settings allow you to adjust areas like the amount of history an engineer see on their mobile application and what image to use on the header of your invoices for example.
- To access Settings in ServiceSight simply click the Settings menu item in the top right area of the screen next to your avatar.
- Then on the left of the page a list of tabs will appear and you need to select General and then choose Settings to open the list of options.
- The list appears in alphabetical order by name. You can scroll down to find the setting you require. Alternatively you can start typing a key word into the search bar at the top of the list and the list will be auto-filtered for you.
- You can also use the pre-defined filters on the right of the search bar to limit the list to a particular section of the system, for example Jobs, Stock, CRM Etc.
- To show or hide the descriptions of the Settings in the list you can click the green arrow on the end of each option. Alternatively you can click ‘Show all’ at the top of the list and all descriptions will open.
- Click on the name of the setting you wish to amend highlighted in blue and you will be presented with a pop up box.
- There will be a short description and the option to change the setting whether that be a yes or no box, or a dropdown selection box.
- Once amended click the save button in the pop up window.
