When you create a new customer account in ServiceSight, the system will generate a unique account number for your customer. However, if you would like to use a different account number that is larger than the one automatically generated, you can easily change it in the settings section of ServiceSight. Here are the steps to follow:
- From your ServiceSight homepage, click on “Settings”.
- On the left-hand side of your screen, click on “General”.
- From the menu on the left-hand side of your screen, click on “Settings”.
- Scroll down until you see the “Customer account number” setting.
- Change the number to your preferred customer number and click “Save”.
Please note that changing the customer account number in the settings section will not affect any previously generated customer account numbers. However, the new number you set will be used for the next customer account you create.
