Creating New Jobs on the Mobile App

A new job can be created by the engineer directly from the device. To do this

  • Start at the main screen.
  • Tap the plus sign on this screen.
  • Select Job.

  • Tapping the ‘site’ field at the top of the screen allows the user to select the site at which the job is going to be carried out.
  • A job type can be selected from the list available.
  • The due date will default to ‘now’ but can be changed by tapping on the fields.
  • An order number can also be entered if available.
  • The ‘To Do’ section allows the user to enter details of what should be done as part of the job.
  • To create the job tap the green ‘create’ button.

The new job is created and sent back to your device and is automatically accepted so you can start work on the new job straight away.
