Adding Public Holidays

Adding a Public holiday to ServiceSight marks these days on the Planner so that you know, when allocating work, that that day is a bank holiday or other type of national holiday. Work can still be assigned on those days but the Holiday labour rate multiplier will be used when charging for those hours, if this has previously been set up in the system.

  • To add a public holiday simply go to Settings | General | Public Holidays.

  • Make sure once you have entered the date and name of the holiday that you click save at the bottom of the page.
  •  This date for the public holiday will now appear in the planner with faint lines through that day and a small airplane icon next to the date so that it is recognisable.
