Logging In & Out of ServiceSight

Logging In for the first time

The first time you use ServiceSight you will be invited to do so by the system via email.

  • Click on the link contained in the email.
  • You will be asked to create a password for use in accessing the ServiceSight system.
  • Once created you will be logged in automatically.

Logging In

You can access ServiceSight in just two easy steps. Firstly, you need to use your web browser to open the log in screen and then simply enter your user name & password.

  • Open the browser of your choice – Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Safari etc.
  • In the URL bar enter ‘live.servicesight.com’ and hit return.

Or

  • Google ‘ServiceSight’, go to our website www.servicesight.com & click the ‘Log In’ option in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  • Once you have done this you will be taken to the login screen.

  • Enter your User Name. This is the email address you have registered with the system.
  • Enter your Password.
  • Click the green ‘Login’ button. ServiceSight will log you into your system and open the Dashboard.

Forgotten Password

If you find that you have forgotten your password then you can ask ServiceSight to reset it so that you can select a new one.

  • Click the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the Login screen.
  • You will receive an email from ServiceSight to let you know that a reset has been requested.

  • Click the ‘link’ to reset your password.
  • You will be prompted to enter a new password to use in future.

Changing Passwords

If you need to change your password you can easily do this from within the system.

  • Whilst logged in, click your avatar in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  • You will see two buttons. Choose the green ‘My settings’ button.

  • On the ‘My settings’ screen that opens select ‘Change password’.

  • Type in a new password.
  • Re-enter your new password to verify it.
  • Click the green ‘Save’ button to save your new password. Next time you log in you will need to use this new password.

User Lock Out

If you have made too many unsuccessful attempts to login to ServiceSight your account will be locked. ServiceSight will send you an email to inform you that your account has been locked. To reinstate your account you will need to contact your system administrator who can unlock it via your employee record.

Logging Out

When you need to leave the system you can simply close your browser window but you can also log out of the system making it easier to log in from another browser window later if needed.

  • Whilst logged in, click your avatar in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  • You will see two buttons. Choose the grey ‘Logout’ button.

    • You will be logged out of the system and return to the Log In screen.
